Prime Alert Secure
An IoT and emergency-monitoring platform connecting cellular security devices, event pipelines, operator surfaces and incident-response workflows.
Prime Alert Secure

What the engagement covered.
The scope reflects the products, platforms and operating areas covered by the engagement.
Cellular IoT devices
Device registration, identity, lifecycle, telemetry and direct NB-IoT or 4G Cat.1 communication with the Prime Alert platform.
Monitoring and events
Real-time event ingestion, normalization, prioritization, alert routing, incident history and device health monitoring.
Operational portals
Customer, administration, TAN, monitoring and installer surfaces alongside developer, API, documentation and status experiences.
Emergency response
Security and emergency workflows connecting device events to monitoring teams, notifications and escalation paths.
The work across the organisation.
A closer view of the products, platforms and operational systems delivered across this engagement.
Fire Router and fire monitoring
Connected fire devices and routers designed to move emergency events from buildings into the monitoring and response platform.
LifeSaver and MedAlert
Emergency SOS and medical monitoring products built around real-time alerts, device state and operator response.
Prisons monitoring gateway
Facility emergency monitoring for correctional environments, with centralized event visibility and incident handling.
IoT device platform
Direct device-to-platform integration supporting smoke, low-voltage, tamper, fault, self-test, temperature and heartbeat events, with retries, buffering, replay and duplicate handling.
Architecture follows the operating model.
Prime Alert Secure combines a device layer, IoT endpoint, event-processing and monitoring services, notification infrastructure and several authenticated operational interfaces. Connected devices report into the platform without depending on a manufacturer cloud, while monitoring and response surfaces turn raw device events into actionable incidents.
Delivery responsibility
The programme has covered core backend and server infrastructure, device-to-server integration, cellular IoT onboarding and monitoring, customer and management portals, alert and notification infrastructure, developer and status surfaces, device operations, production hardening and rollout support.
Production requirements that shaped the work.
Security, reliability, data integrity and operational ownership are carried through implementation and release.
Device reliability
Physical devices must remain identifiable, observable and recoverable across weak cellular links, retries and intermittent connectivity.
Event integrity
Duplicate, delayed or replayed events require deterministic handling so one physical incident does not become inconsistent platform state.
Emergency latency
Smoke, SOS, medical and security events need fast routing, visible acknowledgement and clear escalation state.
Platform security
Device identity, portal authorization, audit history, secrets, APIs and operator access are treated as connected security boundaries.
Build, validate, harden, operate.
The engagement moves from operating requirements through implementation, release and production ownership.
Map
Understand workflows, roles, data and operating constraints.
Build
Implement the highest-value connected workflows first.
Validate
Test permissions, data consequences, failure states and real user journeys.
Harden
Improve production security, efficiency, observability and recovery as the system grows.
